I stayed in the Gambia in November 2022.
The Leybato Beach Hotel is on the first line on the popular Kotu Beach. On my trip to West Africa, this was the first completely clean beach, so I stayed here for a few days.
The worst thing that happened to me at the hotel was a coconut that fell on the roof of the bungalow in the middle of the night.
For a single room I paid €27 per night. The electricity in the whole city goes out several times a day, the hotel has a generator for this case. WiFi signal is not bad.
Breakfast starts at 8:30 am. You can also order lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant.
