After having a horrifying experience at the Airbnb we booked in Paris, France, we decided to book a hotel 2 minutes away. We didn't have enough time to book a new Airbnb so this hotel was conveniently located near to us. Upon arriving to this hotel we met the most kindest and nicest staff member that provided impeccable service. He went above and beyond to try to make us feel comfortable and found two rooms side to side so we could be near each other. He also helped us get the best nightly price which was 63 EUR per night and included FREE breakfast. The hotel is called Hôtel Lorette - Astotel. Join me on this full tour of Ritz Hotel Paris, which is said to be the Most Luxurious Hotel in Paris, France.

The hotel was founded in 1898 by the Swiss hotelier César Ritz. When it opened in 1898, the Ritz Paris made history as the first hotel in the world to offer electricity on every floor and rooms with private bathrooms.

The hotel was also a paradise for writers on the road to fame, from Marcel Proust and Ernest Hemingway to Marguerite Duras. It was a discreet refuge for Maria Callas, and home for over twenty years to Coco Chanel.

Beginning in 2012, the hotel underwent a four-year, multimillion-euro renovation, reopening on 6 June 2016.
