GCCA+ Comoros: farming for the future (ENG subtitles)

Unlike other small island developing states in the Indian Ocean, Comoros is no paradise tourist magnet. Ranked among the poorest countries in the world, Comoros is being hard hit by the impacts of climate change. The EU’s flagship GCCA+ programme is investing €3m to help farmers become more resilient to climate change - on the island of Anjouan, for example, they are being taught organic farming, tree planting and other techniques to grow crops better suited to the harsh conditions.
