Bolivia's Hotel Made of Salt!

Due to the to the limited availability of traditional construction materials in the remote and barren salt flat landscape of Uyuni, this hotel was primarily built with salt, back in the early 90s, and still stands to this day.

However, its location in the center of a desert caused sanitation problems, as most waste had to be collected manually. Mismanagement caused serious environmental pollution and the hotel has since stopped accepting guests for overnight stays. Join me in my exploration of it!
